Pennsylvania Measles outbreak continues to expand, with state health officials reporting 43 new cases since Monday. The latest figures bring the number of newly reported infections to 140 over the past 10 days, underscoring the continued spread of the highly contagious disease across the state.

With the latest cases included, Pennsylvania has recorded 835 measles infections so far this year. The cases have been reported across 39 counties, indicating that the outbreak is affecting communities across a broad area of the state. Health officials are continuing to monitor the situation as the number of infections and related hospitalizations rises.

Hospitalizations and Deaths Reported

The Pennsylvania Measles Outbreak has also resulted in significant health impacts. A total of 164 people have been hospitalized in connection with measles cases reported in Pennsylvania this year. State health officials have also confirmed four measles-related deaths. Nearly 40,000 vaccinations were administered during the first three weeks of the month, according to health officials.
