Mayo Clinic Platform_Accelerate has announced the selection of 20 healthcare technology startups for its latest accelerator cohort, bringing together a diverse group of innovators focused on addressing some of the industry’s most pressing challenges through artificial intelligence, data analytics, and digital health solutions.
Based in Rochester, Minnesota, the accelerator program is designed to help early-stage and growth-stage healthcare companies accelerate product development and commercialization. Through an intensive 30-week curriculum, participating startups gain access to technical mentorship, clinical expertise, and Mayo Clinic Platform de-identified clinical data ecosystem, enabling them to refine and validate their solutions in real-world healthcare environments.

According to Dr. John Halamka, President of Mayo Clinic Platform, the latest cohort reflects a significant shift in healthcare innovation, with organizations moving beyond AI experimentation toward scalable, real-world implementation.
“The Mayo Clinic Platform Accelerate program serves as an engine for digital health breakthroughs, offering technology startups resources and expertise to build solutions for long-term impact,” Halamka said. He added that the technologies represented in the new cohort have the potential to improve patient outcomes, increase operational efficiency, and create new ways to support clinicians and healthcare organizations.

The selected startups are leveraging advanced technologies to tackle a wide range of healthcare challenges, including clinical decision support, diagnostics, oncology care, medical imaging, surgical planning, operational efficiency, and patient engagement.
Several companies are focused on enhancing clinical decision-making through AI-powered reasoning platforms. Aquoris Intelligence, Healthier, and Dr. Data are developing tools that help clinicians navigate complex medical information and make evidence-based treatment decisions. Meanwhile, Immunara and ThinkBio.AI are applying AI and biological foundation models to accelerate discoveries in precision medicine, immunology, and drug development.
Cancer care is another major focus area. Burna AI, InformAI, MICA AI Medical, and PrecXIMed are building solutions aimed at improving oncology workflows, radiation treatment planning, breast cancer detection, and neuro-oncology care coordination.

Many startups in the cohort are addressing operational and administrative challenges that burden healthcare providers. Companies such as Caremaze, Maverick Medical AI, Odesso, PeriMind, and Rette AI are developing intelligent automation tools designed to streamline discharge planning, clinical documentation, coding, revenue cycle management, and surgical workflows.
Others, including Plexis AI and Summit Health Data, are helping healthcare organizations operationalize AI safely and extract valuable insights from clinical data to support research and performance improvement initiatives.

The cohort also includes innovators such as Cardiolife, HealMint, éo-vision AI, and SyncVR Medical, which are advancing cardiovascular diagnostics, remote patient monitoring, medical imaging intelligence, and immersive healthcare experiences.
